Our passion for clothing, art and home made products comes from a love of sneakers that was found by the discovery of the sneaker culture. What first started from a “simple” hobby involving collecting sneakers, it later grew into a passion which some would label as an addiction. In other words: HOOK’D. This passion works contagious according HOOK’D and that’s why HOOK’D want to bring the sneaker culture to the people with our own products
As said, we are completely ourselfs and that is reflected in everything we make. HOOK’D’s style is distinct and always stands out. Not because we want to be unique, but just because we want to. This is our style and we’re proud to be called cute. The idea that we are making endearing designs and products is the biggest compliment we can get. Embracing something vulnerable as being cute is something we want for everyone. That’s why we are proud to have a style like we have and to convey it to you all. We’ll hope everyone will see, that whoever you are, you always can express what you want. Whether you choose our products , or those from someone else. Show everyone what you want. Anyway, we are not affraid anymore to say we’re cute….and we can confirm: Being cute is allowed again!
We value our passion. In the end, this is the reason why we get out of bed every day. Our passion is in making our products, but also still in the sneakers we collect and the sneaker culture where we can be ourself. We think that everyone should have a passion like this, a reason to get up every day and give all you’ve got. Not only to be just busy, but mostly to get everything out of you life and maybe even found your true happiness. Those happiness is not in money, power or luxury if you asking us. But just in finding your passion and doing what you like the most. Maybe you will be considered crazy because of you passion, or people just don’t understand. Don’t give a f*ck about what those people think. Our passion for sneakers and fasion was even almost seen as an “addiction”. And look at us now….our “addiction” brought us pretty far eventually. We are even gratefull that people dared to call it that way. Now we have found the capsules to tell our stories to everyone because of that. Not a bad move if you’re asking us. Just find your passion and who cares if it became a sort of addiction. If only you use it for you’re own happiness.
At HOOK’D we’re trying to make as much as possible ourselves. If we can’t do it yet, then we will learn it. By making and producing everything ourselves we’re able to see how good the quality is and we can protect that quality. That’s important for us because we want that same quality as well when we’re buying things. Another reason we are making everything ourselves is because we know it can be better and more fair for the world. This is true for the price of the products, but also for the processes which can be more environmentally friendly. We believe we needs to be part of a better environment, in any way possible. Not because we want to be original or something, but because we like to buy stuff. Also the stuff we don’t nessessory need that much like the dopest clothing or the best home goods. To let people shop with us without any worries or shame we like to think about the environment with pleasure. We want to keep making things and that’s why we know it can but must done differently. Saying this does not mean we are sustainable. Being complete sustainable is not relevant for us now, not yet. But we’re trying our best to be as sustainable as possible….we need to.
